On November 09, 2024, the 4th International Academic Conference on Mechatronics Technology and Aerospace Engineering (ICMTAE 2024) was successfully held in Nanchang Institute of Technology. The conference, co-sponsored by Nanchang Institute of Technology and Jiangxi Engineers Federation, brought together well-known experts, scholars and industry practitioners from home and abroad. The conference not only provided a platform for exchange of academic research and technological innovation, but also created opportunities to promote cross-border cooperation in mechatronics and aerospace.
Sign-in session
The opening ceremony of the morning was presided over by Professor Ni Jianjun of Hohai University, and President Fan Yanbin of Nanchang Institute of Technology delivered the opening speech. In his speech, President Fan said that ICMTAE 2024 is an excellent platform to display the latest research achievements in the field of mechatronics technology and aerospace, hoping that through this conference, participants can collide more sparks in mutual exchanges and contribute wisdom and strength to future development.
Into Innovation: Highlights and reflections in the analysis report
The Future of Micro and Nano: Revolutionary applications of BAW technology
First of all, Professor Hu Junhui from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics presented a report entitled "Micro/Nano/Molecular Manipulation Technology based on bulk acoustic wave and its application". Professor Hu introduced in detail the latest applications and prospects of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) technology in micro and nano fields, including micro and nano object aggregation, micro and nano clamp and ultrasonic auxiliary devices. The multiple innovative installations he demonstrated attracted strong interest from attendees and inspired new ideas for the future in micro-nanotechnology and beyond.
Intelligent collaboration: New advances in fluid-structure coupling simulation techniques
Next, Professor Wang Yan from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics talked about "Semi-implicit coupling Method based on GPU and its application in fluid-structure coupling". The method introduced by him significantly improves the simulation efficiency and accuracy of fluid-structure coupling problems and provides practical tools for the optimization of aeronautical material and structural design. Due to the high efficiency of GPU parallel computing, this technology has shown significant advantages over traditional methods in the test.
Pneumatic Pioneer: A wide range of applications for modern pneumatic control
The third talk is presented by Associate Professor Xu Jun from Wuhan University of Technology. His talk is entitled "Advanced Pneumatic Control Technology and its Application". Prof. Xu demonstrated the application of pneumatic technology in smart factories, vehicle braking and flexible robotic arms, whose significantly improved efficiency and integration underscore the important role of pneumatic control in modern automation. The rapid development of this field also indicates the development of more application scenarios.
Flight Optimization: Payload management for high-altitude operations
Finally, Professor YADAV Devinder Kumar of Barzer Airlines Malaysia presented online "Maximizing Aircraft Payload Weight using Analytical Route Optimization Techniques during flight Planning". This research focuses on the operation optimization of high-altitude airports, and provides a constructive scheme for improving take-off performance and load management, which has wide practical significance and commercial value.
In the afternoon oral presentation session, experts and scholars in various fields shared their latest research progress through detailed data and vivid explanations. In these reports, we saw the infinite possibilities of cutting-edge technology in the future development, and also felt the enthusiasm of the academic community for unremitting exploration and innovation.
During the poster display session, participants exchanged and discussed in the exhibition area. The researchers stopped in front of their posters and patiently explained the research background, experimental design and results analysis. This link not only promotes academic sharing, but also provides a valuable opportunity for cross-collaboration in related research.
With the conclusion of the last oral presentation, ICMTAE 2024 came to a successful conclusion. The conference showcased the latest achievements in the field of mechatronics technology and aerospace engineering, and harvested fruitful academic exchanges. Through this event, the participants have enhanced mutual understanding, deepened cooperation and inspired more innovative thinking. We believe that in the future, with the efforts of all participants, mechatronics and aerospace technology will continue to develop and create greater value for scientific and technological construction. I look forward to the next session, we continue to work together to write more new chapters of scientific and technological innovation.
